For what it's worth, years ago I hade a White planter that was a 5100 with a 6900 splitter I used for beans. The 5100 had that type closing wheel and the 6900 had the two wheels set at an angle (like Deere 7000).
Most years the beans came up behind the single 5100 wheel first.
