Been spreading fertilizer with our 8230 deere.  The dang seat will not give fore and aft.  The lever won't stay down so it locks itself into position, so instead of the seat taking the jolt, it's my back.  Seat still moves side to side.  After being jarred around all day, has anyone had this problem, and how do you fix it.  I can't hardly see anything under the seat to work on it.  Thanks.
