Mine is wood framed with 4x4 corner posts and attached to the wall. The top is made of 2x4 on edge and I had a local steel shop put 2 bends in a 4x10' sheet of steel plate. One 2" bend for the drip edge and about 14" back. I counter sunk holes in the top and screwed it down with deck-type screws. Joe
