I had this problem also. What we did was hardwire the power cord into the batteries. Dealership told me that if there is a slight decrease in power that it would kick out the motor but still give you guidance. It would be a cheap and easy fix. I also wired in switch to turn it off at night. I believe trimble has a powercord kit but its much cheaper to do it yourself.
EZ-Steer won't stay engaged.
