Many dairy and hog farms store corn in Harvestores at 22-28%. We store barley in a Harvestore silo at 25%. At that moisture, it ferments, similar to silage. If it is too dry coming off the combine, we add water at the auger when we fill the silo. Makes nice feed, no dust, very palatable to cattle, supposed to be more digestable.
