I can see the peace of mind but it seems like you could put blades on it every year and maybe boots every other. Just went through our 1890 last spring and it was a biiiig bill. But the ole girl is tight as a tick. If I understood - he does 5000 acres a year . . . . . . .. with those acres, he'd be shutting down for repairs during seeding time. So, yes . . . rebuilding or going through the machine before seeding, should allow for a non-breakdown seeding season. |
