Subject: Bagging Corn

SE ND
Teach me about bagging corn. How wet can you bag it? dealer says 25%.. thinking of doing it since our harvest is WAY behind and we have no storage left since our bins are still not done!! another story... I would think it would speed up harvest? no trucking time, sitting in line at the elevator, etc. Be nice to get the corn off the stalk and then haul it in as time allows. Not alot of harvest days left in ND and waiting for storage is getting really old. Need to get the crop of as soon as possible!

Dealer wants to rent the bagger out for 500 a day, minimum 4 days.. sound reasonable??
