Spring for a Klein wire bending screwdriver for him for some unknown reason. He'll wonder how he ever got along without it.
Then there's the romex strippers, electrical tape dispenser/cutter, etc. And for Christmas get him a good voltage detecting amp clamp. He can be knocking serious bank as soon as he pays his dues.
