Subject: RE: Case IH 2500 NO Till ripper points

Thanks for the reply roo. I am aware of the JD conversion. Looking at JD parts it looks like the shanks fit the older style No Till shanks pre 2008. I had checked prices and its very pricey. The conversion shank and shin vs the orig JD shank and shin is over 2X the price. The JD shin is almost as expensive as a jobber Case Ih shank ( $87.73 vs 94.95 ). I was going to see if I could modify the orig JD shank by drilling holes to match the Case Ih shank holder. That's the only way it would be remotely economical. The parts you have are they the JD conversion shank or the orig JD shank? What shape are they in?
