central - east central Minnesota -

shopmanbob - 3/21/2016 17:29 Our shop rate is $50 per hour. It is hard for me to keep track of the hours when I have to answer the phone, ship parts, and wait on customers. I want to be fair.

I guess, set up a program on your Smart phone or get a old punch time clock and keep track of the operations. Punch when you start and when interrupted. Get a handle on average time for different operations of repair items and then you can set a rate for each repair operation ? I have no idea how long it'd take to change all the opener disk's and bearings - like you, I get interrupted too much and prefer to get away every so often, as I'm not as nimble as I once was (nice way to say - too Old) . . . . .

Your $50 per hour sounds very reasonable, for repair and return on investment . . . . . . .
