SE MN | We variable rate 28% N on our applicator with a 2630 and a 440 and our dry spreader with the 2630 and a raven 660. You need the cable that hooks the 440 to the 2630 and no unlock is needed for variable rate, just need to have the prescription loaded into the 2630. The cable actually hooks into the harness that goes to the 2630 from the corner post of the tractor and into the back of the raven at the serial port connection. If you didn't want to use the 440 then I believe that is when you need the rate controller. | |
