Subject: RE: 1560/1590 rebuild labor cost

central - east central Minnesota -

shopmanbob - 3/21/2016 12:09 What is a fair labor charge for rebuilding a 15 foot JD 60-90 series drill? New boots, blades, seed tubes, all pivot bushings, seed boot hinge updates. Gauge wheels and press wheels also. Thanks.

Interesting Question Bob . . . . .  I'd be willing to pay someone $25-$30 bucks an hour, to help me in my shop, if they are experienced or very mechanically inclined. Is that on the low end ? I really don't know and would want to be fair. I'm talking just wrenching work - no supplies or tools (assuming, I have all the necessary tools and a lay out to accommodate the repairs, slab to work on and in a building or overhang - dry, not too hot and not too cold) at my location.

What do you charge, If I may ask ?
