north west arkansas | Yes Jim, I have switched Bulls in and out quite a bit. To where I keep the resting bull depends on the place. I don't run Bulls like this on everyplace as I am not set up to but have done it several times. To me on yearling Bulls it's really the only option. I never let young Bulls work very long. If you turn them out with older Bulls they are gonna get hurt. Not if but when. The next problem is if you use a young bull to long it can really set them back. It seems like if you are rotating them and giving them some grain during the rest period they hold there condition very well. Just trying to throw some ideas your way. | |
