Texas | I have a 2007 suburban and I always write the miles and hours down when I do a oil change as we use the suburban for work in the oil field and it idles a lot while the crew sits in it to stay warm or cool while they are waiting on things. Most often we hit our oil change interval on hours before miles. Anyway in the two years we have owned that suburban the hour counter has reset somehow on its own three times.
