Do it on a per head per day cost, that cost depends on the size of the animal, Baby calf to bred heifer all daily costs will be different.Local raiser charges like that and also ai breds the dairy heifers but you pay for what ever semen you want. A percent of the milk check IMO would not work or be fair, both you need some type of fixed costs
