been in the market for some weaners, if they can be found it sounds like it'll take  $80 to get them.
 the story I got is that the farrowers were hit with prrs pretty hard this winter.    I know of several barns locally where the iso weaners came in sick, or were hit soon after arrival.  one barn that I know of was brand new, 5000 head finisher, I believe double stock, they were hauling out nearly 400 dead a week for several weeks.

the word is that there is a shortage of pigs and the big boys have been bidding up, heard of a couple stories of contracted weaners sliding out the side door.
