| Not the easiest place to get to. What I am going to tell you will work, but do not try to grease while the apron and beaters are moving. You need a good grease gun tip on a hose from the grease gun so it will stay attached to the fitting. Pump the grease gun until there is pressure being applied to the grease fitting. While standing clear of the spreader, start the tractor and engage the drive and let the apron drive shaft turn several revolutions. Stop the spreader and shut off the tractor. Go back and pump the grease gun again to pressurize the hose and repeat starting the tractor and apron drive. Repeat as necessary. The fittings open up fairly fast. The pressurized grease forces the plug against the rotating shaft wearing the plug away. Again do not get close the moving parts of the spreader.
