The alarm is god awe full loud but a couple layers of silly putty quieted that down. Basically it is a 7000 without the 7000's problems but with the 7000's good points. We have been happy with ours.
If it's like ours your neighbors will know if you run out of seed.
A little strip of duct tape makes things bearable.....
