Floyd County, Iowa | I used to fill NH3 tanks at the elevator. There were times (calm days) I would have given up one of the "boys" for that.
Had some close calls there, but not quite as serious as cottonhauler's ordeal.
The only problem I could foresee is getting complacent or overconfident.
Only good thing to the old goggles system is that you can get a small whiff to remind you periodically.
As long as a person doesn't get too comfortable around the stuff, that mask would be great.
I don't see how a person with glasses or a beard could use it properly, though.
