Checked JD parts book , sure looks like a 311. They were plentiful here at one time. Hooked to a 730 or 3010 you were fine, on a 4010 or larger tractor you could make a U shape out of the bar in our hard soils. Most added a second bar, made a double tool bar. Worked great for knocking out cotton or milo stalks.
