SE SD | We've had one for a few years now. The later ones are nicer with a bolt holding the closing wheels on instead of that dang roll pin like a 7000. Ours is manual fold, the brackets are there to add hydraulic fold but it is easy enough to fold manually so we haven't bothered to update it. Plenty of population choices. Simple ground drive, no hydraulic fans or motors. Transport width is pretty wide, must be eighteen feet or so if that is a concern for you. I was surprised how much wider than our front fold 7000 the Kinze is. We have a kpm 3000 monitor on ours and it is better than nothing but only barely. It doesn't have a low population alarm so if one row is running out of seed but still dropping a seed occasionally the alarm won't go off till it doesn't drop anything for a certain amount of time. The alarm is god awe full loud but a couple layers of silly putty quieted that down. Basically it is a 7000 without the 7000's problems but with the 7000's good points. We have been happy with ours. | |
