One thing that comes to mind without seeing the others. Would this calf be older than the rest by a long shot and sold with the group it fit in. My gut tells me when I'm buying 600# cattle in February that have frosted ears out of the south there already a year old and the rest of the group is considerably younger. Hence its a poor doing calf took much longer to reach 600#
