Good post.  You hit the nail on the head.

          Butt first = BREACH = abnormal presentation and usually will make you sweat before it is out.

          Rear feet first = POSTERIOR = is considered a normal presentation.

          (Front feet with nose = ANTERIOR = the other normal presentation)

The trouble with just calling them "backwards" is that it doesn't differentiate between the difficult BREACH and the normal POSTERIOR...
