Summer just keeps dragging on here, no rain since the end of Jan so all the pastures have burned off and nothing green around except my cowpeas.  People keep ringing up to see if I want to agist their cattle, problem of farming next to a road. Lack of rain is normal but the heat has been relentless this year, day after day around 100, finally cooled off today and a few showers around but no useful rain forecast.

Harvested the millet yesterday and will start the milo early next week, will be some small grain in it I suspect due to the heat but looks good.

Off to jump in the ute now and head down the freeway to Sydney.
