Formulating a free choice mineral that will hit the nutritional targets and provide predictable intake is hard to do with a cheap mineral. $20/bag is a dime or less per cow per day. $36 a year for a cows mineral, trace mineral, and vitamin nutrition isnt that much compared to other annual costs. If you found mineral that cost half as much you'd save $18 per cow per year and I'd have real questions about the quality and digistabilty of the ingredients. | |
