We tried spreading fertilizer every year for our c-b rotation but saw no yield bump w/beans. Went to just spreading it all on the corn ground (for both crops) So, you want us to stop fertilizing for beans so we get lower yields and everyone here will benefit? You want to lower national yield? Sure you do. You want your yields to stay the same while the rest of the nation sees less yield. You do realize we pay bills by selling bushels right? Just because it isn't at the MAX of economic return doesn't mean it stops providing a + return. I hear China is kinda getting into farming, maybe those thoughts might be a good fit over there. |
