Subject: Babies of all kinds

NW Ohio
Seems we've been trying to get youngsters of all kinds running around here the last few days. New puppy, bottle lambs, 5 week old bull calves, surprise feedlot calf. Got her in as a 5 wt, only had them for about 190 days. Need to add a shot of lute into my receiving protocol on feeders. Good healthy calf but not quite what I was expecting from a 900# heifer that didn't look bred at all until she bagged up last week. Lambs are really coming, have had about 35 lambs in the past 10 days. Bottle lambs are from a set of triplets I had to pull, mom died and so did the lamb I really pulled hard on trying to get out. These are the only ones I've seen born, and now I've got to bottle feed them. I guess that's what happens when I get involved in mother natures business.
