last time I rigged up something llike that, we used a 12 volt sump pump, batteries and a solor panel for a charger. Used a simple float switch in the tank for control. had less than a couple hundred bucks tied up. Lift is the limiter on sump pumps. Haven't had much to do with solar pumps.
