Athens, TX | I have a 2-3 day old calf that has a distended abdomen. I put down an esophageal tube and got air off like you would a bloated older animal. It has abnormally loud bowel sounds. It can walk but lays down and kicks abdomen like pain. Seemed fine yesterday. It does have stool on the tail so does not seem to be a congenital blockage. ? clostrium perfrenges. Any more ideas? Suggestions on treatment?? Chris | |
