I think by the time you build a mill setup for a chopper KP and then put a good sized tractor on to run it, you might as well just run the corn through the chopper itself. A newer SPFH may be too expensive to have sitting around just grinding corn, but today's bigger tractors aren't exactly free either. An older or higher hour chopper is cheaper than many high horse tractors.

If you have just a KP, it may be worth the effort to build a grinder body around it. I don't know why it wouldn't work, just have some good screens and magnets ahead of the mill.
