N FLA
I like to think it's one cow per acre plus one roll of hay for 120 days. (So that's technically 90 days of grazing). This is ballpark because I can't adjust well for pairs, 18m old heifers, and bulls. And I don't know how many head I have.

I think I could do one November calving cow per acre +2 rolls of hay for 150 days if I started with fat cows. Fat cows are much more forgiving than the shells and thin heavy breds, I get nervous shorting them, and you really can't make money shorting them. A fat cow can make it all up here in the last 45 days. The thins can die before we get this far.

The hay is $15/roll if that's any indication of the quality.

Edit also to add, this farm is good sandy loam type land. Can get too wet at times. Which is unique for the area. I suppose some sandy land would knock 25% off easily.
