Damboy - 3/13/2016 15:45 John Deere gauge wheels are junk. Put new tires before planting wheat and now they are shot. 800 acres of bean stubble and the rest wheat stubble. Have a neighbor that has run Needhams side by side with Deere and there is no comparison. Go with Needhams. 

I suspect that the urethane gauge wheels will cause a lot more compaction in an area that you really don't want any extra compaction.
