Most people's idea of condition varies quite a bit it seems. I think you especially have to be careful on Craig's list. I bought a set of rims for the wife's vehicle to put dedicated snow tires on. In the pics two of the rims had what looked like minor curb rash. I asked the guy if they were straight and not bent, and he said they were not bent. I should have looked closer I guess, but I'm not sure I would have been able to tell just by looking, but two of the rims were bent so bad they weren't usable. They weren't bent where they looked like they should have been by the rash markings, it was more of a flat spot in the rim.
