Subject: RE: Anyone have an original 7000 seeding rate chart

There are many other details IN the book that help make it work properly. Last I looked (a week ago) there were many manuals for sale on ebay at fairly reasonable prices. Might even be some from Deere though it was reported last week that there were at least four versions based on serial numbers. I didn't find any references to serial numbers in my manual other than it saying to be sure to include the serial number when ordering parts.

The Kinze brush meters have 60 slots for normal beans and 48 slots for big beans so the ratios are 5:1 or 4:1. If the Deere brush meters have 56 slots, then the ratio is 56/12 or 14/3 or 4.6667 to 1.
