We would trench with a IH 656 Row Crop Hydro, worked the best, putting in drain or underground irrigation. Can't remember the name of the trencher but the three point lift arms were removed and the unit was bolted to the tractor rear frame, was driven off the PTO. It raised and lowered with the aux. valve.
