Definitely look for a local elevator that will grind some feed for you. When they are young, they need more protein and so the feed mix should be higher in soybean meal. As they get older, less meal and more ground corn.... The feed suppler should help you. I try to buy feed in quantities of 2 weeks to keep it fresh. Straw bedding for now and shade to keep them out of the sun when its hot. If you just have them in a dirt lot with some fencing, put rail road ties or telephone poles around the inside to slow their inevitable escape. If they have not been worm'd, worm them now and when they are 100lbs.... when you do at 100lbs, watch out they will take off in size. For water, alot of people will take a large pvc pipe, drill a hole for a nipple and secure it heavily to a corner or post.... I read it on here but forget the original poster but this saying is very true "A pig is placed on this earth for 6 months to destroy something and die, sometimes they do both at the same time." They will show you any weakness in their pen and destroy anything they can get to (basically hip high and lower). Otherwise pigs are a lot of fun (except loading them) and should be great eating.
