If NOAA 3 month forecast is accurate, most of US corn belt temperature anomaly will be positive (above long-term average temperature) during critical part of 2016 corn growing season. NOAA and USDA historical records show very high probability (frequency) of US corn yield below trendline yield when June through July temperature anomaly is positive.
