North Central Illinois | Thanks for sharing that from Charlie. It almost seems as if a hot summer is a certainty. Although we are expected to have good rains this week the trend since December has been well below normal on precip. Really no reason to expect this won't continue into summer. In the end it could be just what many have been hoping for to get last year's crop marketed. I confess to being in the group that has far too much old crop corn on hand which is unusual for me. Even so I cannot in good faith wish for a hot dry summer for anyone to profit me personally. Although at this point the odds do seem to favor at least some kind of weather threat. It is going to be an interesting summer. | |
