| After many years of frustration with the plug in rechargeable units that wouldn't last long enough, I made the switch last year to the Milwaukee M18 LED work light. Worked good, ran lots and lots of hours without needing recharging. Only gripe was it wasn't a spotlight, so shining in the distance wasn't the greatest although doable. That's what I was going to use this year again UNTIL....
I went to the local Acme tools store a few weeks ago and Milwaukee now makes an M12 LED spotlight. Haven't started calving yet but have played around with it and WOW I can shine on an object nearly a 1/4 mile away and the batteries should last pretty darn long with the XC 4.0 battery. | |
