| You are right about one thing if land goes down it's a good thing for buyers which we always are. What I worry about is a young gun reading all the doom and gloom on here and then maybe missing out on a farm he really wanted. Here's how much I think about managing my land base it's very simple so pay attention. 100 acres comes up forsale in my area that I want I go to the bank, bank lends me the money I buy it. This has been our Farms "managing skills" since the 60's. And it's worked pretty good. You can make your predictions on land prices going up or down but it's all just noise and no one really knows. So to the people looking to buy land today if it works for you buy it because I've seen and had opportunities pass by. Don't listen to the bears and don't listen to the bulls just make good investment descisions and keep driving on. | |
