Did the lean-to on my shed. Lots of extra bracing, sheeting, labor, etc. Definitely cheaper and tighter to go with a bigger box. I thought it would be simple and cheap until I saw how they have to build it. More post holes, trim, etc.
I did mine more for a specific reason, but it was not the cheap nor easy way to do it.
