I agree. I really hope I am wrong, but I believe after this 5-8 year downturn. Agriculture will come out with way more corporate farms. We will all be working for the COOP in town. Or the elevator down the road. Like the Hog Industry and Chicken Industry. I guess there is really nothing we can do but watch it happen.


That is exactly what happened to a generation of farmers in the 80s that got caught in the vortex. I worked a full time job from 1988 to 2005 to get back on solid ground farming. I didn't have a rich family, and had little opportunity with lenders wanting to lend money. Once you go down, you are a loser, and you will make your own opportunities.
