Right on there, pirlbeck ! Looks like the same size, but don't be fooled! The thread is set deeper into the one filter than the other, causing much grief to the farmers. My question is; Why would Deere do something so stupid? Is the filtration any finer on the one or the other?


Good point, for a while we had a 4440 and a 4320 so we needed both styles. When I bought the filters, my parts guy would write on the box which one was for which tractor. I still try to do that today even though we don't have either of those tractors anymore.
