Do a pre lube . Get  a empty Freon tank weld a fill plug and put a air valve in it. Plum a hose from the tank valve to where the sending unit goes. Fill the tank 2/3 full of motor oil put air pressure to it and turn it upside down and you can lube the whole engine and fill the oil pump. This should be done to all engines after a rebuild.
