| It's a building. Concrete walls on three sides five feet high with the barn board over them as a wind break. I worked on a feed lot in north west Iowa a few winters and those cattle did fine in the cold so I didn't figure I would have to box my building in to tight. The air is always nice in there. The south side is open with a feed line. Three pens 60*60 with a 14 foot scape alley and bedding pack behind. I dont have any good pic on my phone but will get one when ifeed in the am. We start them off on grass hay and the. Sialage distillers corn and a pelleted concentrate and dropping the sialage and increasing the corn as they get bigger. Maybe some off spec feeds if something comes along reasonable but cheep feed can turn awful expensive at times to. Have done earlage a few times but the timing for moisture hasn't worked the last two years | |
