West Central Iowa | No, they are not the same filter. The AR43634 fits later 20 series (4320,4520,4620),30 and 40 series and the RE57394 fits 50 series and newer. In some cases the AR43634 can be replaced with the RE57394 IF the mounting fitting is changed. I know for a fact if the AR43634 is used where the RE57394 is required, it can be threaded on, but without enough thread engagement to keep it on. It cost a customer of mine an engine when his hired man put the wrong filter on and it blew off going down the road. | |
