![](/profile/get-photo.asp?memberid=18010&type=profile&rnd=55) Central Indiana | I haul hogs and cattle, at least a load of hogs per week. I went Aluminum in 2005 because my trailer has to sit out, and that destroys the paint on steel. If you can store inside, used periodically, and cleaned out regularly, steel is fine. If the trailer sits outside, is used weekly, and is only washed out every 6 weeks or more, go aluminum. My trailer may still be worth 70% of what I paid, and when washed the inside looks like the day I bought it. But it was twice as much as steel. Im happy with my choice, I would already need another steel, my aluminum has many years left. | |
