Soil | Look on top of filter housing for a snap on electric plug, if you see any moisture around plug it is probably letting enough air into fuel system to lose prime. Our 1992 fought this problem for a couple months, even took it to a shop to get fixed. The plug in goes to a fuel heater in filter housing. There is a oring on the element but it is a odd size, couldn't find one at local auto parts. Local auto parts couldn't get new heater either so I eliminated the heating part and used old oring and silicone. Been working fine for about two weeks. Heating element from ford, I think was around $150. | |
