The Kabat gauge wheel arms for JD 1700 planter units from Sloans make good trotline weights. Wore slap out after 100 ac/unit
Put their Kabat Closing disks on my case planter. Replaced them all at the same time. Most of them wobbled funny, and about 6 of them seized the bearings up in the first season and I literally had to dig the old case ones up out of the junk pile just to keep going. I do like shoup though, quality is good, and shipping is great. |
