Sounds reasonable, the larger companies owning their own sorting machines lets them cut costs.
I'm looking at $60 for 1/4 straw and almost $100 for the large straw by the time I get done paying Trans Ova to sort a Hawkeye collection. The transportation and other fees really add up. They did say they'd gladly charge me less if I'd invest in buying them a sorting machine! lol |
